Welcome to the Hatch Pond Education Center at Cole School
The Outdoor Classroom program at the Hatch Pond Education Center provides regular nature-related lessons for students in Pre-K through 3rdGrade at Cole School. This interdisciplinary program gives students hands-on experience in nature. The program is supplemented by on-site presentation by the South Shore Natural Science Center, Mass Audubon Society and various local experts.
Mission Develop curriculum that integrates the sciences, environmental education, math, language arts, reading, social studies, nutrition, art and agriculture related to the outdoor classroom.
