As a result of the overwhelming positive response to our “Write A Check” Fundraiser, we have chosen to continue this campaign for the 2011/2012 school year. By Combining and simplifying traditional fundraisers into one easy tax-deductible* contribution, we are eliminating the need to hold multiple, time-consuming fundraisers, the proceeds of which we receive only a small percentage. The best part about the “Write A Check” Fundraiser is that 100% of your contribution goes directly to our school. 100%

It is our hope that this fundraiser will be a continued success and permit us to provide the Cole school community with the high standard of educational enrichment opportunities we have come to enjoy.

Our annual fundraising requirement is $35,000 (or $60 per student). This amount covers or offsets the cost of such enrichment programs as field trips, in-house visits from outside organizations, transportation, classroom needs and much more.

 It’s easy! Simply pay on-line with a credit card or fill out the reply card, write one check for your family contribution and send it to school in your child’s backpack. There is also the option of selling Hilliards chocolate bars, or both…it’s up to you.

The Cole School PTO is excited to announce that we have obtained 501(c)(3) status.* This means that all of your contributions are now tax-deductible! In addition, we are now able to accept Corporate Matching Donations. Please check with your HR department to see how your company can participate.

* the Grace Farrar Cole Elementary School PTO is registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) corporation and all donations to the PTO are tax-deductible.
